Join us for the second Tableside Chat in this year's series! This event will focus on the current state of venture capital and will explore alternative and non-traditional sources of funding. Hank is a General Partner at Lightstone Ventures and will be accompanied by several representatives from Lightstone Ventures and Vertex Venture Holdings, a large international investor becoming increasingly active in investing in healthcare.

Policy Changes that Affect You
FEDERAL SHUTDOWN CAUSES FDA BACKLOG     While the challenges with the Obamacare health exchange website has stolen the news over the past few weeks, it was the recent shutdown that perhaps had the biggest impact on the medtech industry. During the shutdown, it is estimated that the FDA was not able to process the 100 device company submissions it received over the 16-day period, as well as impacting existing submissions being reviewed.
